After a long while…A not so popular guy called. This is a condensed "telephone transcript".
...
CH: “I called your people, 3 of them, their phones are closed.”
ME: Thinks: I am Number 4 (similar to the movie? Haha)
CH: “I want to check if you received a letter from the authority, I’ve seen it (describes the letter), but could not remember where I’ve seen it.”
ME: No problem, understood. Let me check with my colleagues.
CH: “I just want to know whether you received it or not. Yes or no. I’m waiting”
ME: Of course, I’ll return your call soonest possible.
...
Checked with my colleagues, and returned his call, confirming that we didn’t receive any letter from the authority regarding the matter.
...
The return call:
CH: “How can you not receive the letter?!! You should receive the letter!! Why are all the other terminals saying they did not receive the letter?!!”
ME: The other terminals didn't receive it? Maybe the letter was intended just for you?
CH: “Why would the authority not send you the letter?!”
ME: I wouldn't know, maybe it's directly for you? Maybe you’ve misplaced the letter?
CH: “If I have it, I wouldn’t have asked you!”
ME: Understood, but you said you saw it before, and that means you or your colleagues have received it? I haven’t seen it myself, neither does my colleague. Maybe you can check with your colleagues?
CH: “Hallas! Hallas! If you don’t have it, you don’t have it!”
ME: Yes, I don’t have it. Anyways, in case you found it, can you share it with me?
CH: “NO! Why should I share it with you?!”
ME: But we always share information with you. Might be beneficial for us to find out what’s in the letter as well.
CH: “NO!” – slams down the phone.
Ah. I did not even miss you. In the past, I might have gotten upset with the screaming, yelling, the rudeness and uncouth responses, but at this moment I’m thankful to God (Alhamdulillah) that I manage to keep myself calm.
